Videos of kinesin transport are clearly anthropomorphised ad appear to show kinesin molecules walking along a microtubule hauling its load through a water gel the consistency of roofing tar.

This is not possible. The kinesin molecules have no musculature, they have no motor, and they have no power supply.

Hypothesis: They are being dragged along by electric field movement and the micro-tubules act as guide rails. Power is externally supplied and the cargo acts as a sail.

Strandbeest

Multiple videos seem to show strandbeest walking of their own accord but the power, as with kinesin molecules is supplied externally via the (invisible) movement of air and the beest is guided either the gradient of the beach or by Theo Jansen himself.

A truly magnificent example showing how ‘causality’ can sometimes seem to originate from one process but in reality lies with another.

In the case of the strandbeest, the coordination is achieved by the physical geometry of the legs and in the case of the kinesin and microtubules, by the charge structure of the molecules.
